Nero Marquina Quartz Kitchen

This bespoke kitchen installation features polished Nero Marquina quartz, selected for its dramatic black background and striking white veining. The material has been used extensively across the principal worktops, sink area, window sill and raised counter sections, creating a strong visual contrast against the light cabinetry and interior finishes. One of the defining features of the project is the highly detailed edge fabrication. Rather than using a simple straight profile, the worktops incorporate deep traditional moulded edges and carefully shaped internal and external corners, giving the installation a distinctive architectural character. The bold white veining runs naturally across the dark surface, creating a dramatic statement while the polished finish adds depth and reflects light throughout the room. Matching upstands and window detailing provide continuity across the kitchen. Combined with the classical cabinetry, decorative supports and contrasting white ceramic sink, the dark stone creates a sophisticated balance between traditional detailing and contemporary material character. The finished installation demonstrates precise fabrication, complex profiling and careful attention to the transitions between each section of the worktop.
