Understanding the Space
Every project begins with the space itself. We take time to understand how the room will be used, the character the client wants to create, and the practical details that will shape the finished worktop.
About Precision Stoneworks
Precision Stoneworks templates, fabricates and installs stone and engineered surfaces across the UK. We work in Quartz, Granite, Marble and Porcelain, and keep the process — from first measure to final polish — with our own team rather than subcontractors.
That means one point of contact throughout your project, and a fitting team that knows the slab they're installing because they cut it.

Our process
From digital templating through fabrication and finishing, each stage is handled with care to achieve an accurate fit and a refined final result.
01
Every project begins with the space itself. We take time to understand how the room will be used, the character the client wants to create, and the practical details that will shape the finished worktop.

02
Colour, movement, texture and performance all matter. The right material is selected not only for how it looks, but for how naturally it fits the design and the way the space will be lived in.

03
Once the cabinetry and layout are ready, the worktop is accurately templated. Dimensions, corners, cut-outs, overhangs and joins are recorded so that the stone can be prepared for the room with precision.

04
Before the first cut is made, the layout is considered across the slab. Veining, focal areas, joins and individual pieces are planned together so the

05
The approved layout moves into fabrication, where each piece is cut to its required dimensions. Openings and profiles are formed carefully, turning the original slab into the individual elements of the finished worktop.

06
Edges, corners and cut-outs are refined by hand and machine until every visible detail feels deliberate. The surface is polished, checked and finished to complement the character of the stone.

07
Before leaving the workshop, every piece is inspected for finish, dimensions and overall consistency. It is a final opportunity to check the details before the stone becomes part of the room.

08
Installation brings every earlier decision together. The pieces are positioned, levelled and joined carefully, with attention given to alignment, seams and the surrounding cabinetry.

09
The final result should feel effortless — as though the stone was always intended for the room. Once everything is complete, the surface is cleaned, checked and ready to become part of everyday life.
Customer stories
“From the first measure through to the final installation, the whole process felt precise and well organised. The positioning of the veining across the island and full-height splashback was beautifully considered, and the finished kitchen has become the focal point of the entire space.”
“The curved island was the detail we cared about most, and the finished result exceeded what we had imagined. The stone flows naturally around the shape, the workmanship feels extremely refined, and every junction and finish has been handled with real attention to detail.”
